I planned, when Here Goes Nothing came out, to take a giant Megabus tour, but was thwarted when their customer service people told me I would not be allowed to bring my guitar with me on a Megabus! I’ve worked out the kinks, so now I’m exploring my options. It’s time for a roadtrip:
7/13: 6:50 AM Leave NYC for Pittsburgh, arriving 2:30 PM
7/15: 4:00 – 6:30PM Hambone’s all-ages gig
7/15: 6:30PM – ? Studio session with Ryan Miller, singing backup for Gary Musisko and talking through mixing strategies for my new album!
7/16: 7:00AM: Leave for Ann Arbor, arriving at 1:25 PM
7/17: Ana arrives in Ann Arbor
7/19: 11:00AM – noon: Play Ann Arbor Art Fair’s Fountain Stage
7/19: 4:30 PM: Leave Ann Arbor for Pittsburgh, arriving at 10:30 PM
7/20: 5:00 – 7:30PM: Backstage Bar gig
7/20: 7:30PM – 7/22: Wedding in Cranberry (not mine, I’m just playing it, calm down)
7/22: 4:30 PM: Leave Pittsburgh for NYC, arrive 12:35 AM
This will be my first multi-town visit in, I think, ever, and man is it a cushy one! My friends Addi and Joe are putting me up in Lawrenceville over the Pittsburgh stays, Ana’s parents are keeping us safe and warm in Ann Arbor, and the happy couple is putting us up in a nice hotel room for the wedding gig.
My point is, there are holes in that schedule. If you know of anything for me to plug myself into on the 14th in Pittsburgh, or between the 16 and 19th in Ann Arbor, please don’t hesitate to fill me in on it! I’d love to play more while I’m “on the road.”
